The Next Step: Spinal Inc., Mont Kiara.

Here's what has been going on..

Since the birth of the second baby, I've had pain on my upper spine and the fear that my curves are regressing have returned to plague me.

So today I had my first consultation with Spinal Inc., in Mont Kiara. The physio doctor I saw was very sympathetic, helpful, generous with advice and information, and I look forward to working on the good ol' spine with her and her staff.

Goodbye to my surgeons? Nope, we will cross the bridge only if we get there. Which I hope we won't. Two surgeries are enough for now. God willing.

Will keep my progress updated.

I had just completed my 72 sessions with Spinal Inc.

I took more than a year to finish because I was only able to go on weekend and sometimes skip, therefore it didn't really work on me.

You have to go there at least 3-4 times a week. Good luck to you.

Hi there Nina, I just adore the way you put up this blog. Its about time for me to ask you, I have a minor one, a scoliosis but its the S one (lumbar). Never really bother abt them since life just got bz all the time. Right now I have this really severe pain on my neck often. Could you suggest me where to go?TQ ;)

Hi Nina, I found out I'm dignosed with Scoliosis on March this year after giving birth to my 3rd son. Lately I went to HSC Medical Ctr & did another X-ray & MRI (yet to know how many degree) which cost me a bomb as I'm not working for more than a year now (no income). I'm looking for Government Hospital, any idea?? as I'm staying in Semenyih just next to Kajang.

Coach Fan, sorry to hear about the costly procedures! To tell you the truth my experience is limited to UH (now UMMC) in petaling jaya. Was under the care of the spinal specialists there back in the 90s. I hear they're still very good. In HUKM i'm under the private wing, and that can cost a bomb too, but they also have the govt clinic downstairs and I've had appointments there before as well. i would definitely vote for HUKM.. the spine specialists are good and experienced. Quite a number of patients on the FB group went to the HUKM govt clinic for their procedures and had good things to say. good luck, all the best! dont hesitate to email me if you need anything.

hi yun, my apologies for the late response! so ure planning to go for treatments at spinal inc.? they can help immensely if u have pain, the pain will lessen considerably with regular sessions. regarding as to whether reduction of curvature can or will be reached, i am not yet sure because i've been going there only a few months, plus family and work commitments allow me only two or three sessions per week. but i do the exercises at home and it helps manage the pain. hope your treatment goes well!

hi irene! i'm still going but have to currently put it on "pause" because of unwell kids and unwell-self! having flu and going there spreading it is not an option. lol. hope to see you in spinal inc.! i'll be giving periodic updates on my progress at spinal inc. on this blog. thanks for reading :)

Hi there, my 13months old baby (with genetic disorder on top of this) was born with congenital scoliosis, her curve is quite obvious as we can see her uneven shoulder. can anyone tell if Spinal Inc work for her?

Hi there,
my 13 months old baby was born with a genetic disorder called "Brittle Bone Disease", she has congenital scoliosis, which making her back a big hump on her right, and now that she started to sit, i can see her uneven shoulder on right too. Xray shown her T6 is deformed, in triangle shape, curve to the right. We are currently following up with UH, was told that her curve is almost 35degree. The doctor asked to go back in 6months time to check the progression. Have not got any 2nd advice yet, was thinking of visiting Spinal Inc this weekend.
Any input is appreciated.

Does anyone know if the curve reduction achieved by non surgical methods like Schroth and CLEAR stay reduced? Or does the spine curve again when u stop doing?
